Moos Boeke won the 2025 Small Press Award for his book ‘Abel & Caïn’. In this re-imagining of the biblical story, an unspoken tension between the two brothers is central to the story and it’s themes.

This tension encompasses gender, body and an all-consuming love. The story is drawn witch subtle pencil drawings and red pigment. The jury praised it for its humor and sensitivity towards the topics.

In this expo Moos Boeke puts the spotlight on ‘Abel and Caïn’ once again, making it more available to the public. For this purpose a second edition of the Abel & Caïn was also printed, making it available for purchase at Cross Comix.
