Closed / Open Call Book Presentations

Have you released a new graphic novel this year that you would like to present at our festival? Then this is open call is for you! We are looking for artists who want to present their book during Cross Comix 2026.

The presentation can last up to 40 minutes, followed by a signing session of approximately 20 minutes. This is all for free: we do not charge you a fee to participate. Please note that places are limited.

To be eligible for participation you(r work) must adhere to the following guidelines:

• Your book must have been released in the past six months.
• It must be available for purchase during the festival, and preferably before the festival as well.
• Self-published and home-printed books are welcome, provided you can bring enough copies to sell during the festival.
• Your presentation can be in Dutch or English. The primary language of the festival is English, so please keep this in mind when preparing your presentation.

The deadline for applications is the 30th August 2026. After the deadline, we will make our final selection and inform you. After that, we will contact you again within a week with more practical information about your participation.
