AmberAmelia Kelly

AmberAmelia is a traditional and experimental animator and mixed-media artist from Ireland in her mid twenties. She has a BA (Hons) and MA in animation, both from the Institute of Art, Design, and Technology, Dun Laoghaire, as well as a postgrad certificate in production management for animation. Her MA research, as mentioned, brings animation into spaces it has been predominantly overlooked at an academic level.

AmberAmelia has found a passion for the arts and health, and in turn, graphic medicine via this research. Her short films, entirely self made, have been screened internationally and nominated at festivals. AmberAmelia aims to continue her research into the utilization of animation in therapy and health sectors into a PhD, as well as continuing to create her own short films done traditionally and based on her own experiences.
