Cenk Güngör

Cenk Güngör (b. 1995, Balıkesir) is a Turkish illustrator, animator, and graphic designer based in Amsterdam. His practice spans a wide range of media, including comics, zines, editorial illustration, animation, riso printing, and screen printing. His work draws inspiration from Franco-Belgian comics, surrealism of Studio Ghibli films, and the morbid world of the American alternative comics scene. Fascinated yet irritated by crowds, he depicts the mundane moments of urban life with intricate detail and a surreal twist.
