Wobby.club, led by artistic director Marjolein Schalk, has provided a platform for autonomous illustration and visual art since 2015. It issues Wobby, a quarterly, thematic magazine, risograph printed at Wobby’s studio in Tilburg (NL).
Wobby showcases quirky illustration, comics, visual art and literature, focusing on fresh figurative, experimental, and humorous work from upcoming and established international artists. At the end of 2024, Wobby’s 40th issue was released, co-curated with Enter Press (IT).
Besides publishing Wobby magazine, Wobby.club organises residencies, exhibitions, a diy publishing fair, workshops, open calls, and many more projects.
