How much can you truly learn about someone you’ve never met, living in a different country, simply by exchanging a single message each week? This is the story of two artists: Camilla Fassina from Italy and Madelief van der Peijl from The Netherlands exchanging thoughts, dreams, deep and joyful conversation for 17 weeks, through a series of hand drawn postcards.

Each week follows a unique theme, a way to understand their lives: from childhood memories and favorite local foods to artistic inspirations and personal aspirations. You’ll discover how they live their daily life, what truly matters to them, and how their distinct cultural lenses shape their perceptions of the world.

“Hey, look what I got! (it’s a postcard!)” is an intimate look at how art and authentic communication effortlessly bridge cultural divides, offering a rare glimpse into this beautiful, evolving connection between two artists and their rich, diverse worlds.

This unique project was initiated by Cross Comix and the Treviso Comic Book Festival. On saturday both authors will be present to discuss their correspondence.
