Tim Mulder (1996) haalt zijn inspiratie voornamelijk uit de stripcultuur en historische prentenboeken, die al op jonge leeftijd zijn interesse wekte. Zijn beelden kunnen zoals in de stripcultuur uit meerdere fragmenten bestaan, die samen een apart verhaal kunnen vertellen of juist aanvullende informatie geven bij een ander element in het beeld. Door deze werkwijze forceert hij de toeschouwer langer naar het beeld te kijken om het narratief te begrijpen.

Imke Bogers (1996) is een maker en droompiloot uit Utrecht. Door middel van haar associatieve manier van werken maakt ze heldere poëtische beelden die hun oorsprong vinden in haar fascinatie voor taal en het verzamelen van kleine alledaagse observaties en materialen. Zo geeft ze graag aandacht aan de dingen die doorgaans onopgemerkt blijven. Als je goed luistert, hoor je namelijk dat alles fluistert.

Artists Bruno Ferro, Xavier da Silva, and Gwen Stok have been collaborating under the name Trompette de la Mort since 2014. Their art has a macabre yet playful quality, as if you were the guest of honor among cannibals, trying to remember proper table manners. They specialize in ink drawings (both small and large) as well as paintings.

Mikołaj Stojanowicz (b.1998, PL) is a Rotterdam-based multidisciplinary artist. His practice is a blend of new and old media assemblage, coupled with an approach to digital and analogue drawings and paintings.

Shaped by his personal obsessions with worldbuilding, archeological artefacts and information technology, Stojanowicz creates relationships between the online and offline, the digital and non-digital, the material and immaterial. His work manifests as brutalist, richly textured, and digitally compressed imagery, laying bare explorations of ambiguity between physical and mental space, aiming to trigger latent memories and awaken dormant thoughts.

Luuk Bode is an artist who lives and works in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. His portfolio shows a great variety of paintings, murals, drawings and sculptures, and recently also interior projects. Throughout his career he developed a strong sense of colour and shapes, which lead to his work becoming more and more abstract. Although the reference to his earlier works – involving street art influences and iconic cartoon-like figures – can still be seen in the powerful explosions of form and colour he uses today.

Manos are two brothers on a journey trying to bridge the gaps between all musical genres and cultures. In their live shows they combine the visceral qualities of live music with the pulsating and rance inducing movements of club music with a set that takes “live looping” to another level; taking the audience on an eclectic journey all over the world and through space and time.

Het werk van Simon Schrikker heeft één bindende factor: het opzoeken van de grens tussen de figuratie en het materiaal. Soms gebeurt dit letterlijk, waarbij de dikke lagen olieverf buiten het kader van het schilderdoek kruipen als een langzaam oprukkende lavastroom, soms meer figuurlijk of associatief door de vervreemdende sfeer in aquarellen, animaties, muurschilderingen en recent ook sculpturen.

Zijn werk wil een beroep doen op de kijker. Wat zie ik? Wat gebeurt er letterlijk en wat wordt ingevuld op psychologisch niveau? Wanneer ontstijgt het beeld zichzelf en gaat de betekenis dieper oftewel wanneer krijgt het de noodzaak om gezien te worden? Wanneer Simon zijn fascinaties naar verf vertaal, drijft het werk op emoties en instinct als angst en macht en de daaraan vastklevende clichés; onderbewust en bewust tot een samenhangende brij vermengd.

Beau Zwart (25) had an early introduction to music, learning classical piano throughout his childhood based in Rotterdam. Amazed by the possibilities of the works of classical composers from older generations he started to write his own compositions. In his teenage years he discovered jazz and electronic music and implemented these worlds in his compositions, but also in performances and DJ-sets.

Today, Beau is a producer, performer, DJ and film composer. He graduated the bachelor in music and technology at the HKU University of the Arts Utrecht in 2019. He released music via national and international recordlabels like INI Movement, Fluid Funk, Midnight Riot Records and Beau De Toilette. He performed at festivals like Noorderslag, Grasnapolsky and North Sea RT and has a monthly radioshow at Operator Radio named BZ radio.
