Artists Madelief van der Peijl (NL) and Camilla Fassina (IT) corresponded with each other through postcards for almost six months, commissioned by Cross Comix and the Treviso Comic Book Festival. They spoke and drew about their lives, their surroundings, and their work. The results are presented in an exhibition.
In this presentation both artists will discuss their work and collaboration.

Nature serves as the base of her illustrations, while she explores themes like curiosity for the things happening around you and finding beauty in the mundane. She works mostly with analogue materials like gouache, pen and graphite pencil.
Her work is playful and layered, while remaining open to interpretation.
